Installation Instructions :
1. Download the following files:
2. (Optional) Backup your entire device / important files manually (through explorer) or your entire device with a backup software (search this site).
3. (Optional) Use 'Newplow' - ROM Backup Tool, to backup your current ROM, for future restore, should anything go wrong, or if you decide that you prefer your old ROM.
4. Fully charge the battery of your LOOX N560, until the upper right led of the device is continuously red.
5. Use 'Newplow' - Pocket LOOX ROM Flash Tool, to install the new ROM on your device.
Read and follow very carefully the well guiding instructions within the program. I will just emphasise here, that the LOOX N560 needs to be connected to the sync cradle AND the sync cradle needs to be connected from its back, through the power supply cable, to an electric outlet socket.
6. After a successful ROM upgrade, do a Hard Reset to your device (see HERE how).
7. (Optional) Restore your files manually (through explorer) or from your entire device backup software (using "ROM Upgrade" mode).
